These are works that are usually one of a kind, and it is in the process of creating them that they become originals. It can be in the shaping of the vessel, or in the enamel, or in the relationship between these two processes that something happens that makes them original. You learn from each other and from the outcome of process. They are made by hand. In this case the two disciplines, metal working and enameling become one. Not so unlike the artists.
